Real-Time Collaboration in LYNX
LYNX is a cloud-based solution, which means your project data is stored securely in the cloud and updated in real time.
When multiple users work on the same project, task, or card simultaneously, LYNX ensures that changes are synchronized seamlessly so collaboration remains smooth and efficient.
Saving and Updating Changes
You can freely make edits to a project or task, but these changes will not be visible to other users until you save your work.
As soon as you press Save, your updates are immediately reflected for all other users who have access to the same project.
Tip: Save regularly when collaborating on shared projects to make sure everyone sees the most up-to-date information.
Automatic Merging of Project Changes
When two or more users are working in the Project Plan (Project View) at the same time:
-
Updates made by other users are merged automatically into your view.
-
This ensures that no work is lost and your local changes are preserved.
-
You will always be working on a consistent and up-to-date version of the project.
This same principle applies across the entire LYNX ecosystem, including LYNX, LYNX-x, and TameFlow.
Keeping Views Up to Date
To ensure you are always seeing the latest data, both the My Activities view and the Kanban view include Refresh buttons.
-
Click the Refresh button at any time to manually update your view.
-
When there are new updates, an orange dot appears next to the refresh icon, indicating that changes are available.
Example: If another user completes or updates a task while you have the My Activities view open, the orange dot will alert you to refresh and load the latest information.
Summary
Multiple users edit the same project | Changes are merged automatically
You edit tasks or cards | Updates become visible to others once saved
Another user makes updates | Refresh or look for the orange dot indicator
Using LYNX, LYNX-x, or TameFlow | All platforms follow the same real-time update principles
