Next to creating individual cards, you also have the option to create multiple cards at once via the Import Cards Editor. Within this editor, you are able to easily copy a lists from for instance excel and create cards from that list. To find the Import module, use the Goto-button and select Cards. Then the Import Cards Editor becomes visible, see figure:
The first time you open the Cards Editor, all columns and their headers are empty:

Standard fields
The next step is to determine which information is needed within these columns. There are two fields that are standard on every card:
We would advise you to use the columns:
- Caption: Provide the name of the card;
- Card type: Select the Card Type for this card. You can configure multiple Card types within Cards configuration.
Custom fields
Besides the standard configuration, you have the possibility to add custom fields to your cards. If you want to know how to add these fields to your cards, we would advise you to read the following article:
When you have configured the custom fields, you can also configure these custom fields within the Cards Editor.
Assign columns
Card Type
As an example, we will use the Card Type: Subtask. This Card Type includes the following information:
Import data
When you have external data, for instance from excel provided in the following way:
You can copy the data per cell/column specific or all data. You can use CTRL + C and CTRL + V or the paste button in the top left. For Lynx to recognize the data input, you have to select the correct columns. You can assign a column by selecting a cell within a column and change the Assign Column box. The example data will give you the following view:
Select the correct workpackage
After you press Create cards, you will receive the question in what workpackage you would like to put these cards;
Select the correct workpackage and select OK. The cards will be added to that workpackage. As you can see the cards are created and the input is shown within the custom fields:
