Can I use Hot Keys in LYNX-X?

Yes! A-dato wants its user to work as efficient as possible. Therefore, there are Hot Keys available within LYNX-X. This articles describe all Hot Keys, in combination with their functionalities on desktop devices.

 

Overall

Hot Key: Functionality:
Ctrl+Shift+A Navigate to MyActivities view.
Ctrl+Shift+C Navigate to card view.
Ctrl+Shift+T Navigate to kanban view (Tameflow view).
Ctrl+Shift+P Navigate to project view.
F5 Refresh.
Enter

Save, except when:

  • Active control is a clickable control. In this case click is performed.
  • Active control is a dropdown that is open. In this case dropdown is closed and current selection is persisted.
Ctrl+S

Save.

Arrow Left, Arrow Right, Arrow Up, Arrow Down

Moves focus to control in direction of arrow key when appropriate.

Alt+Arrow Down

Toggle dropdown. If you’ve changed a value in a dropdown and close it using Alt+Arrow Down changes are reverted.

Escape

Closes an opened popup. Changes are discarded.

Tab

Moves focus to next control.

Shift+Tab

Moves focus to previous control.

Ctrl+Tab

Moves focus to next view.

Ctrl+Shift+Tab

Moves focus to previous view.

 

Cards / Kanban View

Hot Key: Functionality:
Insert Key Add object (card, note, booking, etc…).
Ctrl+Del Remove object (card, note, booking, etc…).

 

Project View

Hot Key: Functionality:
Ctrl+C Copy task(s) in project view.
Ctrl+V Paste task(s) in project view.

F4

Scale Timebar of Gantt in project view.

F9

Auto Schedule in project view.

 

Tables

Hot Key: Functionality:

Ins

 Insert row (if allowed).
Page Up Current row moves a ‘page’ up.
Page Down Current row moves a ‘page’ down.
Home or Ctrl+Left Go to first selectable column.
End or Ctrl+Right

Go to last selectable column.
Ctrl+Home or Ctrl+Up Go to first row.
Ctrl+End or Ctrl+Down Go to last row.
