If your plan contains one or multiple "intermediate" end-points, you can set a deadline to the tasks concerned that need to be completed on a particular date and time.
A task with a deadline also triggers the option to insert a milestone buffer, protecting this deadline.
Once your plan is "released" you may want keep track of how much time (days) is still available until you would reach the important deadline.
LYNX will track and communicate how much time still is available until reaching these important deadline(s). In LYNX this is called the "Milestone Feeding Chain Duration"
If no time is available anymore or the deadline cannot be achieved, LYNX will also shows the time (days) late, compared to the deadline.
