These releases brings improvements to task management, project scheduling, reporting, and the AI Board, alongside continued development of LYNX-X.
LYNX
Improved Task Visibility in My Activities and Active Tasks
Additional columns have been introduced to provide more project information directly within task lists.
These include:
- Project Priority and Business Priority
- Milestone Buffer Percentage
- Task Progress (%)
- Global project properties, such as Product Team
These improvements help users better understand task priorities, project progress, and the context of their assignments without switching between views.
Improved Milestone Buffer Deadline Configuration
A new space-level configuration option provides greater flexibility in how milestone buffer deadlines are displayed on work package cards.
Users can choose whether the Milestone Buffer Deadline field displays the most critical milestone buffer deadline or the next milestone buffer deadline along the dependency chain.
This allows milestone information to better reflect different planning and execution requirements.
Improved Project Actual Dates
The Project Properties view has been enhanced to provide greater visibility into Actual Start and Actual Stop dates.
These values can now be reviewed and adjusted when necessary, supporting more accurate lead-time calculations and historical project performance analysis.
Resource Load and Scheduling Improvements
Several improvements have been made to scheduling calculations and resource load visualization:
- Improved Level of Effort (LOE) sizing to prevent unexpected resource load peaks.
- Corrected LOE sizing behavior when predecessor tasks are completed.
- Improved buffer calculations for fixed-duration tasks.
- Improved handling of the "Do not level" constraint to prevent scheduling calculation errors.
- Added an ASAP positioning option in Resource Load to display started tasks at their earliest possible scheduling position.
These changes support more reliable scheduling results and a clearer understanding of resource requirements.
