Improved Chain and Resource Contention detection and statistics 

  • The objective is to provide easier visibility on resource contention and providing decision support, so that Project Managers and Team or Department managers can assess impact of assigning less or more resources to the project. In the example below the limited availability of a skill (Mechanical Engineer) and an assigned resource (Fabian Cancellara) causes that the duration of the project is 14 days longer:Resource_Contention_Fabian_and_Mechanical_Engineer.png

  • Ctrl G Fast-Key: Go-to-Line-number:Control_G_-_Go_to_Line.png
  • Most recent note is now being put on top:Notes_sorting.png
  • A Start / End-check filter has been added to the notes dialog. This allows users to easily see which checks are still to be completed or already done: Easy_filtering_of_checks.png
  • "Set Feeding Chain Duration" dialog has been moved to another location:Set_feeding_location.png

 

Changes/Fixes

  • Feeding Chain Complete  and Current Longest Chain Complete information is synchronized again in the refreshed Project Statistics panel if they point to the same chain and buffer:Synchronisation_of_chain_duration.png
  • Display of Tracking information has been cleaned, preventing columns and information overlapping:Tracking_Information.png
  • Reporting XML Menu Font has been cleaned 
  • Users with read-only rights, like Task Managers, can now unfold a summary task again:Unfold_summary_tasks_-_read_only_users.png
  • The option "Configuration" has been added again to the top-left "hamburger" menu
  • RTS flag for tasks was sometime set while still predecessors not completed. This has been fixed
  • Checkboxes in the Scenario Wizard could not be updated. This has been fixed. 

LYNX TameFlow Items

New

  • The Show "Created Cards" and Show "My Cards" filter have been added to the Filter Panel on the TameFlow Taskboard:show_created_cards.png
  • Search in the "Cards View" has been improved and "search in all workpackages"  message is added when a filter does not return a result, when initial search is done in one workpackage
